Up the Down Side: Papaya Rain
$70.00 – $2,180.00
Relatives think we are eccentric to still rush out to see a good rainstorm. But: “no rain, no rainbows.” They say that a lot here, and it’s true everywhere. Also, no papaya.
Photographer’s note: AKA “View from a hammock,” will reproduce very well at any of the listed sizes, but the sunlight’s effect on raindrops should prove more remarkable at any of the larger sizes.
Description
Morning light hits the leaves of a papaya tree. Raindrops shine right through to a leaf’s underside, looking up at the sky.
We watch for rain. Relatives think we are eccentric to still rush out to see a good storm. But “no rain, no rainbows.” They say that a lot here, and it’s true everywhere. Also, no papaya.
Whatever the weather, it never hurts to look up — just watch your step. It can be dizzying, but there might be things to discover up there…
