The impressionistic treatment of a pale, luscious rose in the morning light might encourage a little obsession with romance. The gentle colors and the light sparkling on the dew? Of course. Then something more subtle leads the eye onward, out and beyond, maybe just a daydream away…

It’s the very soft focus, with small exceptions that give entry to the heart of it. We could go walkabout there and write poetry to evoke a delicate fragrance and make listeners’ faces glow.

The bokeh background, especially the green bits? No idea. We’ll think of them as tiny footprints left by nature spirits who worked to align all those dew drops so beautifully.
