“Seasonal Starscape” was requested by someone who wanted a special piece to celebrate their annual holiday. They plan to hang it yearly, only in December — but their neighbors neglected to take down their living-room Christmas tree all year, so we wonder…

We unleashed our editing tools for this image — just a bit more than usual, so it plays nicely on the wall during a season dominated by long, dim evenings and saturated colors in the décor, everywhere.
